In the spring of 2010 Barn i stan started a cooperation with the Streets department about the management of some areas at Seved’s plan. During the summer of 2010 the project to take care of three smaller patches at the square as well as the flower plot around the fountain started.

During the summer a bean temple (böntempel = prayer temple) took form. It was constructed by the local artist Mårten Strömqvist and Percy Andersson. Phaseolus coccineus was planted around it and after a while they had covered the whole construction. We also had a smaller patch with corn and sun flowers and another patch with white beet and summer flowers.

The bean temple stayed outside during the autumn and when the winter came it was decorated with spruce and Christmas decorations.

During the season of 2011 the perennial plants have remained and a new bean temple has been constructed with bean plants from local shops at Möllevångstorget, sponsored by students from SLU Alnarp.
